day 41

well another day of trauma! Took C to routine Drs appt this morning but as she hurt her knee playng rugby on Sun she had a look at it and has put her on crutches, sent her for x ray and booked her to see the consultant at fracture clinic on Thursday! Thinks she has torn the ligament and made me feel awful as of course I have been playing it down, as you do with 14 year old drama queen daughters! Ah well she is loping around on critches and I had to take a sudden day off work which always throws me....I have been a career woman since before they were born so I have to have control to make everything work!! Guess thats why I am so out of control with my food!! Otherwise the day has been fine and I am much more up beat than I have been for the last few days, horrible feeeling I am hitting menopause which could account for all of the hormonal stuff...great timing! Have my adult head firmly in place Mollyjak, and am certainly proud of what I have achieved so far. Horrible weather here tonight but I forced myself out to the gym, on my own, and walked for half an hour while watching emmerdale using their wireless sets..think I will time gym with these in future and watch Eastenders, makes it go so much faster! They have little boxes you borrow and clip to wherever you can find and then tune into one of the many TV screens and watch what you want!! Looks like our trip to Cardiff to see The Police on Friday night is out of the window..anybody want two tickets??!!
